Home care for the elderly is a service that allows the individual to stay in their own home. The idea behind home care is to offer an alternative to the elderly where they can keep their own home with support from a care worker that visits once or twice per day.

Home care services typically include personal care (such as help with bathing, washing hair and getting dressed), general housekeeping (vacuuming / cleaning), meal preparation, nursing and companionship.
Homecare is typically structured so that it meets the needs of the individual. The same agency or person may create a care plan that covers the following: long term 24-hour care, short respite breaks for family members, emergency care and day care.
Your local authority may provide and arrange care themselves. Alternatively individuals can arrange their own care through direct payments or a personal budget. Information on personal budget arrangements can be found here – NHS Choices Personal Budget

Assessment
After you have completed your assessment (including multiple choice questionnaire), your digital certificate is sent to the email address used to login as soon as the course is completed.If you have not received your certificate, please first check your spam box. If it isn't there, please call and we will get this resent.
Do courses expire?
There is no expiry date on course credits. Once a credit has been bought it can be allocated at any time. However, should the credit have been allocated to the delegate, each learner then has 12 months to complete the course.In other words, unallocated course credits have no expiry date. If for example you ordered 1000 licences, and allocated 600 courses in year 1, you would have 400 licences left to allocate in year 2.
