Performance Management FAQ
Performance management is a process in which both managers and employees work together to a set plan in order to increase efficiency within the organisation. The process allows both parties to monitor and review the employee's work objectives in an attempt to ensure goals or targets are being met.
Typical parts of an effective performance management system include:
1) Planning (setting employee objectives)
2) Ongoing communication
3) Data gathering
4) Observation and record keeping
5) Appraisal meetings
6) Performance analysis
7) Coaching or mentoring
If done correctly a performance review is not primarily about evaluating an employee's efficiency within the organisation. A performance appraisal should be about motivating and empowering an employee to reach their maximum potential. It should be a culmination of a series of meaningful performance discussions over the course of the year and acts as a centre point, where previous performance is evaluated and future performance objectives are agreed. Therefore it is not about somebody's personal or financial "worth" to the company but about their performance to date and future potential.

Do courses expire?
There is no expiry date on course credits. Once a credit has been bought it can be allocated at any time. However, should the credit have been allocated to the delegate, each learner then has 12 months to complete the course.
In other words, unallocated course credits have no expiry date. If for example you ordered 1000 licences, and allocated 600 courses in year 1, you would have 400 licences left to allocate in year 2.
