End of Life FAQ
Palliative care is for people living with a terminal illness where a cure is no longer possible. It's not just for people diagnosed with terminal cancer, but any terminal condition. It's also for people who have a complex illness and need their symptoms controlled.
End of life care is an important part of palliative care for people who are nearing the end of their life. End of life care is for people who are considered to be in the last year of life, although this timeframe can be difficult to predict.
How does end of life care help?
End of life care aims to help people live as well as possible and to die with dignity. It also refers to treatment during this time and can include additional support, such as help with legal matters. End of life care continues for as it is needed.

Do courses expire?
There is no expiry date on course credits. Once a credit has been bought it can be allocated at any time. However, should the credit have been allocated to the delegate, each learner then has 12 months to complete the course.
In other words, unallocated course credits have no expiry date. If for example you ordered 1000 licences, and allocated 600 courses in year 1, you would have 400 licences left to allocate in year 2.
